UCONN TO THE BIG 12?
Over the last few weeks, there was real noise around the possibility of UCONN joining the Big 12. It appears those talks have stalled out, but I would NOT be surprised if they resurface next summer.

It appears that it is logistically possible for Iowa State to win 9 games, be tied for the conference title, then lose that title on a coin flip.
The Big 12 announced its football tiebreaker policy if two teams are tied atop the conference standings:

Baylor Volleyball has taken care of business thus far, posting a 3-0 start to the season, but the next two weeks are a different challenge.
On Saturday, the Bears welcome #18 Minnesota to Waco and a week later, powerhouse #6 Wisconsin swings through as well.

SOCCER: SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS TRIP
Baylor WS put away Texas A&M at home last week, 1-0, then followed that up with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over SMU in Dallas.
