If you’ve been listening to PodcastDelOso for a while, you’ll know that back when we were still OurDailyPodcast we had something of a curse that followed the podcast around. No, I’m not talking about the curse of the Basketpod… I’m talking about the News Drop Curse. Any time we’d record an episode where there was news potentially on the horizon, invariably it would drop in the time it took me to edit the show and get it uploaded.
Well, it happened again.
You’ll hear us talk about the Transfer Portal on this episode of PDO, and how Baylor has yet to receive any commitments from players in the Portal. Of course, as I was wrapping up editing of the show on Friday morning, Baylor received its first portal commitment in Samu Taumanupepe, the Nose Tackle from Texas A&M. Tamanupepe will have three years to play, and he’s a big boy. We’ll definitely talk about him on next week’s show. And likely others, because I have a feeling that Baylor isn’t done yet, and we’ll see more commitments over the weekend.
So, our details on those commitments will have to wait until next week’s show. Until then, enjoy this smorgasbord of an episode!
